Huge thanks to Taylor and Scott from New Beginnings Film. As you can see, they absolutely killed it. We couldn't have asked for a better video to highlight that day.
A couple of posts ago I mentioned all the big things happening this year. Of those five things, three of them have officially been checked off! New Witte opened and life was... crazy. Crazy but amazing. We got married, and five days later, TJ turned one! Not long after that, he started walking and with the walking came a whole new layer to his personality.
We're still working on the house, but should be in soon. (I hope I'm not jinxing anything by saying that.) While things haven't been going as quickly as I would have liked them to, I have to remind myself that we both work full time jobs, have a baby, AND have to watch our spending. Slow and steady wins the race. I can't wait to make our new house our home. (AND UNPACK ALL THESE AMAZING WEDDING GIFTS OMG.)
There are two things we did not anticipate doing this year. The first was introducing the world to Cate Creative. I finally got up the courage to launch it on Facebook and Instagram, although our graphic and event design side hustle has been chuggin' along a little over a year now. SO nerve wracking and weird and vulnerable-feeling. But we're doin' it. We'll see where it takes us! The second big, unexpected thing is that I decided to come out of faux-retirement, and audition for a show...! I booked it. I'm playing Kristine in Ibsen's A Doll's House at the Classic Theatre San Antonio. I am equal parts ecstatic and anxious. October will be QUITE the month.
But first... moving in and our big trip to Italy (with a 17 month old. GULP.)!
